Meghan Markle news: Royal wedding merchandise already on SALE in Windsor

Meghan Markle, 36, is to wed her royal beau Prince Harry, 33, in just 96 days.

Having announced their engagement in November, the couple have been seen on a number of events around the UK such as Cardiff and Brixton.

Kensington Palace tweeted details of the royal wedding earlier today, revealing the dates and time of the big event on May 19.

Taking place in Windsor, it seems that tourist shops are jumping on the big event with one shop even selling royal wedding merchandise already.

The images show a variety of memorabilia, such as mugs, bookmarks, plates and spoons.

With “Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Royal Engagement” written on them, prices can be seen from £2.99 for a magnet, or £4.99 for a keyring.

They aren’t the only people to celebrate the event, with ceramics company William Edwards Home also creating a bespoke collection.

They tweeted: “We are so looking forward to the #RoyalWedding of HRH #PrinceHarry and #MeghanMarkle.

“To celebrate, we have created a limited edition commemorative collection of fine #bonechina.”

Prices range from £15 for a coaster to £45 for a teacup set.

The wedding between the royal couple is expected to be in front of 800 guests, starting at 12pm at St George’s Chapel.

Kensington Palace tweeted: “The Dean of Windsor will conduct the service and The Archbishop of Canterbury will officiate as the couple make their vows.

“At 1pm the couple, now married, will undertake a Carriage Procession from St George’s Chapel through Windsor Town returning to Windsor Castle along the Long Walk.”

The young couple are hoping to be able to travel through the streets to be able to see many of the fans who will turn out for the event.

Following this, Meghan and Harry will then hold a “reception at St George’s Hall for the couple and the guests from the congregation,” and then a “private evening reception for the couple and their close friends and family”.

But what colour dress will Meghan wear? Queen Elizabeth and Kate Middleton avoided the usual white dress.

Meghan could follow on from this, wearing ivory. Rumoured designers include Erdem, Roland Mouret or Mischka Badgley.
