Kate Middleton dazzles in Gucci and earrings from Pippa Middleton's wedding at London gala

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was without husband Prince William, 36, as she stepped out in west London in a luxurious flowing ballgown. The mum of three chose a beautiful floor length design, by fashion house Gucci, with a body-con top with sleeves that wrapped around the edge of her shoulders. The criss cross, two-toned silken fabric combined deep fuchsia and pale lilac shades. A dark waistband around her middle, meanwhile, highlighted Kate’s toned figure.

The Italian fashion designers made sure to give a fairytale nod to their design with a floor-grazing hem and the multicoloured fabric running in vertical stripes down the skirt.

Kate, who is parent to Princess Charlotte and Princes George and Louis, opted for a dark pink velvet clutch.

She also chose to re-cycle the stunning silver drop earrings she wore for sister Pippa Middleton’s wedding.

The elegant hooped design is by jeweller Kiki McDonough.

Meanwhile, ever the glamourpuss, Kate made sure her dark pink eyeshadow with plum hues was the exact same match for her dress.

She was all smiles as she stepped out of her waiting car.

Carole Middleton’s daughter’s attention was temporarily distracted by an event on her right side, to which she turned to look at.

Kate was representing Mentally Healthy Schools, for the Women in Finance Gala Dinner.

The plush event was held at the historic museum, in London’s South Kensington.

Kate launched the website at the beginning of 2018 as one of the legacy programmes from the Heads Together campaign, which aims to help people of all ages start conversations about their mental health.

Net proceeds from this year’s Gala Dinner will be given to the Mentally Healthy Schools programme.

As part of Children’s Mental Health Week 2019, Kate has visited schools in London to find out more about the support offered to students, teachers and parents to help them with their wellbeing.

She sat in with students who were writing a food diary, which focussed on the links between food choices and mood and feelings.

The project works with teachers and school leaders to support the wellbeing of children and offers school staff reliable and practical resources to help them.

The enchanting outfit was yet another style triumph for the duchess.

Earlier this week, Kate stepped out in a stunning white dress at the BAFTAs.
