Brigitte Macron makes quick coat change before heading to Armistice Day event

Brigitte Macron, 65, hashed a busy morning this morning as world leaders have gathered in Paris to make the Armistice ending the First World War.

Before the ceremony held at the Arc de Triomphe, kicked off Brigitte and her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron, 40, welcomed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 46, and other world leaders at the Elysee Palace.

The trio were all smiles as they sheltered under a row of umbrellas.

Former school teacher Brigitte was wearing a crisp white shirt, black cigarette trousers, and a pair of black patent, pointed toe stilettos.

To keep warm on the November day she threw on a smart black coat with silver button detailing on the left and right hand side.

A short time after, Brigitte sported a completely different look.

Heading to the Arc de Triomphe with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, 64, she appeared to be wearing a different coat.

The coat she was wearing this time was again black, but instead of silver buttons this time the design featured three horizontal stripes.

One was black, one was tan-coloured, and one was white. All had a leather-look.

Underneath the coat, Brigitte appeared to be wearing the same outfit as before.

She accessorised with small black shoulder bag and held a pair of black leather gloves.

The commemorations at the Arc de Triomphe mark the 100th anniversary of the 11 November 1918 armistice, ending World War I.

The armistice ending World War I between the Allies and Germany was signed at Compiegne France on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

This day is commemorated as Remembrance Day with special attention being paid for this year’s centenary.

Also taking part in the Paris ceremony are US President Donald Trump, 72, and his wife Melania Trump, 48.

Donald and Melania met with Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron for at the Elysee Palace yesterday.

Despite the drop in temperature both women opted for bare legs with their outfits.

The US First Lady wore a black coat dress fastened up to the collar and cinched in at the waist with a belt.

To help keep warm on this November day, Melania also wore a pair of black leather gloves, and teamed the coat dress with a pair of stilettos heels by her favourite French designer Christian Louboutin.

The US president’s wife glamourised the look further with a neat up hairdo and some delicate diamond stud earrings.

In a similar shape getup, Brigitte was photographed wearing a dark blue matching skirt and top.
